A shade garden is what I need around our house. With all the trees, there isn’t much space in our yard that gets sun. I am planning to consult your expertise. I still know so little about what is what. It definitely is a fun project though, has me looking at things in a different way.
What a fun project Carol! Amazing pictures! In my shade garden the trillium is blooming. Jack-in-the-pulpit, Solomons Seal, Wild Ginger, forget-me-nots all doing their thing! If you come accross any bloodroot let me know! I so miss wandering the Bemidji area woodlands! A college Botany course had me wandering aimlessly and identifying a wealth of beautiful woodland plants and flowers! Each flower has its own short season so you can take the same walk and experience a whole different landscape many times!
